| 2. | DO… use Twitter to promote you’re other online items. If you have a web site, a blog, a YouTube channel or Digg account. Make sure you promote that stuff on your Twitter feed. There are only so many things I can learn about your in 160 characters. However, if you’re fun and interesting I want to know about your other things you do online. AND I will support it. I also hope you’ll do the same for me but that’s what the concept of social networking is all about. A cross-referencing of stuff you do online. |
| DON’T… just put your tweets in your blog. I hate when I click a link on someone’s feed that takes me to a Livejournal that says exactly the same thing. How short do you think my attention span is? It’s like an online deja vu and we all know what that means. |
